What is Homam or Havan or Yagna ?

Homa or Homam or Havan or Yagna is same hindu spiritual fire ritual. It is offering of intensive Pujas (poojas) to different GODS and GODDESS performed for a particular deity by invoking the divine power of that particular deity through Agni i.e. the God of fire. In Yagna the priest or Pandit, after offering Puja to the respective deity of as the symbol God or Goddess, light up the auspicious fire in a big metalic pot or place, which is called Homa Kund or Yagna Kund or Havan Kund and start  offering 'Ahuti' in that auspicious fire many auspicious items for the fulfillment of devotees wishes.
